“Hair hydration” is probably the most important phrase for summer hair health.
However, a distinction must be made between skin hydration and hydration of hair.As you can correctly perceive from the name "hydration", it is the addition of water, moisturizing. So we don't use any oils before moisturizing because oil repels water.
Hair can be moisturised simply by spraying water directly onto dry hair. However, hair is hygroscopic, which means that within 5 minutes it will transfer its moisture to the surrounding air.
To moisturise hair for longer, use products with a sealing effect, such as Hair Prosecco Spray. So hair stays hydrated for a much longer time.
If you are in the sun, consider protecting your hair with a hat, scarf, or at least braiding your hair, which reduces water evaporation from your hair.
Moisturise your skin by eating juicy fruits and vegetables, which contain bound water that can hydrate your cells. Drinking litres of water puts unnecessary strain on the kidneys. More on the biggest myth known as the “drinking regime” next time.
